Verification (KYC) confirms that the account belongs to you. It is usually requested before your first withdrawal, so doing it early saves time later.
Quick answer
Open Profile → Verification, confirm your email and phone, fill in your personal details exactly as in your ID, then upload a clear photo of your passport or ID card and, if asked, proof of address. Use your real name from the start — mismatched data is the main reason for rejection.
Step by step
The typical verification flow.
| Step | What to do |
|---|---|
| 1 | Confirm email and phone number |
| 2 | Fill in name, date of birth and address exactly as in your document |
| 3 | Upload passport or national ID — all four corners visible, no glare |
| 4 | Proof of address if requested (recent utility bill or bank statement) |
| 5 | Wait for review; check Profile and email for status |
Why verification gets rejected
The most common reasons: the name on the account does not match the document, the photo is blurred or cropped, the document is expired, or the payment method belongs to another person.
Fix the data in your profile (or ask support if fields are locked) and upload a new, sharp photo. Do not open a second account — duplicate accounts are usually blocked.
How long does it take?
Review time varies with load and the quality of your documents. Clear documents that match your profile data are processed fastest. If it takes unusually long, contact Pocket Option support from your account.
Tip: verify before you need to withdraw
Complete verification right after registration, while you practise on demo with Signal AI signals. Then your first withdrawal will not wait on document review.
