Platform access vs trading availability
The website and account may be accessible outside market hours. Maintenance, regional restrictions or an unavailable asset can still prevent trading; an open account screen is not proof that a market is open.
Regular market schedules
Regular forex generally runs from Sunday evening to Friday evening UTC. Stocks and indices follow the relevant exchange calendar; holidays and daylight saving change the UTC hours. Consult each asset schedule in the terminal rather than assuming one timetable applies to all.
OTC weekends and interruptions
OTC instruments can be offered when regular markets are closed, including weekends. Their quotes and availability are broker-specific, and the asset list may change. Check the OTC label and current availability before placing an order.
