1-Minute Binary Options Strategy That Survives Real Conditions
Updated: 2026-09-17
One-minute expiries are where most beginners start and where most accounts disappear. The speed is not the problem — the absence of rules is. This is a complete 1-minute framework with explicit filters and limits.
The setup
Use a 1-minute chart. Apply a 20-period EMA as a trend filter and RSI(14) for momentum. Nothing else on the chart: more indicators on a fast timeframe produce contradictions, not confirmation.
Long condition: price is above the EMA, pulls back to touch or nearly touch it, and RSI turns up from below 50 without having been below 30. Enter on the close of the first candle that turns back in the trend direction, expiry 1 minute.
Short condition is the mirror image: price below the EMA, pullback into it, RSI turning down from above 50 without having reached 70.
The filters that matter more than the entry
Session filter: trade only during London (07:00–11:00 UTC) or New York (13:00–17:00 UTC). Outside those windows one-minute candles are noise.
News filter: no entries within fifteen minutes either side of a high-impact release for the currencies involved. A single headline invalidates a one-minute technical read.
Range filter: if the last twenty candles are contained in a narrow band and the EMA is flat, there is no trend to pull back into. Skip the pair.
Risk rules
Fixed stake of 1–2% of the account per trade, unchanged after wins and after losses. No martingale, no "recovery" size.
Daily stop: three consecutive losses or 6% of the account, whichever comes first. Close the terminal for the day when either triggers.
Maximum five to eight trades per session. A fast strategy does not mean a high-frequency one; quality of setup falls sharply after the first good hour.
Where signals fit in
Signal AI can be used as a second opinion rather than a replacement for the rules above: if the signal direction agrees with your EMA and RSI read, the setup has confluence; if it disagrees, the honest response is to skip.
Track both outcomes separately — trades taken with agreement and trades taken against it. After fifty entries the difference tells you whether the confluence is worth waiting for.
Expect a realistic hit rate in the mid-fifties to low sixties on a good sample. With standard binary payouts that range is workable; anything claimed far above it should be treated as unverified.
