Trade at least a hundred signals on a demo balance before risking real money. The goal is not profit, it is discovering how you behave after three losses in a row.

Keep the same stake size on demo that you plan to use live, otherwise the practice teaches you nothing about discipline.

Matching expiry to timeframe

The expiry should match the timeframe the signal was calculated on. A one-minute analysis says nothing useful about where price sits in fifteen minutes.

Very short OTC expiries of 3 to 30 seconds have the widest outcome spread. They are a legitimate option, but never the place to increase stake size.

Spotting a scam service

Guaranteed win rates, martingale recovery plans, private managers offering to trade your account, and pressure to deposit more than the platform minimum are all red flags.

A legitimate service publishes its reasoning, shows losing signals as well as winning ones, and states clearly that losses are part of the process.

Realistic expectations

A consistent trader takes a handful of good setups per session and skips everything else. Signal volume is not the goal; signal quality plus fixed risk is.

What a usable signal contains

Direction alone is not a signal. A usable call names the pair, the timeframe, the expiry it was calculated for, the confidence level and the indicator agreement behind it.

If a source only posts "EUR/USD UP" with no timeframe and no reasoning, you cannot evaluate it afterwards, and you cannot tell a lucky streak from an edge.

Filters that remove most bad trades

Skip signals during high-impact news for the currencies involved, skip the first minutes after a session open, and skip anything with low indicator agreement.
